Pottery

artistic endeavors

I love pottery. Pottery making is what drew me into ceramics, and I have never stopped making pottery, even when my practice turned towards sculpture and installation. This transition, in fact, helped me to understand what I desire from my pots: clean lines, clear function, warmth. Using handmade items enriches daily life immeasurably, and by making simple forms that invite use I hope to provide some of that depth to any who keep them in their home.
